- Provision of Data and consent

Personal data may be communicated and/or transferred to the following subjects in their capacity of Autonomous Controllers, Data Processors or persons authorized to process personal data, as duly appointed by the Controller:
- Third parties, natural or legal persons, providing DAE with services connected with the purposes of processing indicated above, such as, by way of example, Daikin Group Affiliates, data hosting, suppliers, subcontractors, internet services providers;
- the Police Force or the Judicial Authorities in the context of investigations or judicial police investigations for the purposes of prevention, verification or repression of crimes;
- Public Authorities, where this is required by law or upon their request;
- any other subject to whom the data must be communicated according to an express provision of law.
Whenever a third party acts as a Data Processor, DAE will ensure that it has entered into a contract with that third party, in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR, that sets out the subject-matter and duration of the processing, the nature and purpose of the processing, the type of personal data and categories of Data Subjects and the obligations and rights of the Controller.
- Transfer of personal data to Third Countries
Within the purposes of the processing described above, DAE may transfer personal data to other Daikin Group’s companies also established in countries not belonging to the European Union, in accordance with current legislation.
In any case of transfer of personal data to a non-EU country, Daikin undertakes to ensure an adequate level of protection by establishing appropriate safeguards and complying with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR.
Transfer to extra-EU countries, in addition to cases where this is guaranteed by the European Commission’s Adequacy Decisions, is carried out in a way that provides appropriate and adequate guarantees according to Articles 46 or 47 or 49 of the GDPR.
8. Data Subject’s rights
We hereby inform You that at any time, in relation to Your personal data, You may exercise the rights within the limits and under the conditions set out in Articles 7 and 15-22 of the GDPR.
You may exercise such rights, as described below, by contacting the Controller, at any time,

DAE will need to verify Your identity in as much detail as possible, in order to let You exercise Your rights and to avoid that someone else tries to exercise Your rights. You will therefore be asked to provide a valid identification document when making such a request.
In detail, as data subject, You will have the right to:
- obtain confirmation whether or not personal data concerning You is being processed;
- if processing is in progress, obtain access to personal data and information relating to the processing and request a copy of the personal data;
- obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data and the integration of incomplete personal data;
- obtain, if one of the conditions provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR is met, the erasure of personal data concerning You;
- obtain, in the cases provided for in Article 18 of the GDPR, the restriction of processing;
- object at any time to the processing of Your data carried out in the pursuit of a legitimate interest;
- receive personal Data concerning You in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and request their transmission to another controller, if technically feasible;
- pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, if You believe that Your rights under the GDPR have been infringed, in the manner indicated on the website of the Data Protection Authority accessible at the address www.garanteprivacy.it.
