Daikin has been supplying heat pumps from the R-32 Small Inverter Chiller Series as a solution for hotels. The latest project of this kind has recently been executed in Slovenia. The new R-32 Small Inverter Chiller in the heat pump version was installed as a replacement for an old R-410A chiller. The new unit will be used to provide indoor units in the hotel with cooling or heating, based on the needs there might be in the different moments of the year.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTIONS
The main need for this project was making the HVAC system more energy efficient, reducing operative costs for the business owners. Besides that, meeting low noise emissions requirements and footprint constraints were very important aspects, which led to the R-32 Small Inverter Chiller Series as the best solution for this project. Another key aspect was the availability in stock of this product, which allowed fast delivery to the customer site. R-32 Small Inverter Chiller supplied was provided in a version with a low lift pump, and low noise option, so the low noise emission requirement due to the hotel being placed in a city center was met. Another important feature is the full inverter technology in this product, which was very important to ensure the high energy efficiency that the customer was expecting. Besides that, Daikin offered extreme reliability, ensured by Daikin’s huge experience in developing R-32 technology.
